With the objective of giving back to society and to work towards the upliftment of the underprivileged children, Danske IT works relentlessly to be a responsible corporate citizen.
In line with our effort of focusing on education for the underprivileged children, Danske IT is actively working on extending a support system towards the children at risk who have been abandoned by their families. Apart from providing them essentials like shelter and food, we also help them complete their secondary education. “Hearts in Action” is Danske IT’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative aimed at rehabilitating and educating underprivileged children.
Danske IT partnered with an NGO called “Need Base India”, a non-profit foundation. Established in Dec’ 2009, Need Base India is a Bangalore based NGO actively working towards rehabilitation and education of children who have faced trauma and abandonment. In partnership with Need Base India, Danske IT runs two homes for children - one each for girls and boys, with a focus on rehabilitating them. Today, there are about 60 children in these homes who have been brought into the shelter and enrolled for counselling and bridge courses to mainstream them.
Our team members, senior leadership team and volunteers visit these homes on a regular basis to interact and mentor these children.
